I think the title does not need any explanation for a hardcore beauty lovers like you (yes, I am pointing at you!) but for the rest of the world, no, this is not a secret name code. Instead, I am going to share my recent workshop experience learning about Make up For Ever (MUFE) High definition (HD) makeup range with Make Up For Ever (MUFE in short).

20140509-203307.jpg First of all, THANK YOU ASHLEY YEEN!!! I was so happy to be invited by ashleyyeen to Make Up For Ever makeup workshop in celebration of her birthday in April 2014. This is a late post but I really want to share with you guys on how excited I am to get to learn about MUFE HD makeup products. The workshop was held at MUFE boutique at Starhill and attended by 10 of us lucky girls. The stand alone boutique has great ranges of products with each of us got a spot with chair, mirror and a whole lot make up product to play with. 20140509-202925.jpg 20140509-202939.jpg

First we were introduced to MUFE HD makeup range by Shiory and Angeline, the MUFE make-up artists. The MUFE HD Complexion products use innovative formulas to create a new generation of makeup which is both invisible on HD cameras and to the naked eye.

HD range use very fine ingredients for an invisible, natural makeup finish. They contain reflective particles that reflects light to our skin surface to achieve a “soft focus effect” that looks brilliantly beautiful in HD photography or videography. Hence, this is the perfect war paint for us girls who like to take photograph and even #selfie. It reflect light in a way that skin looks flawless and natural.

MUFE HD makeup range offers a wide range of products including the HD Elixir, instance radiance hydrating serum providing instant and long-lasting hydration. Its unique and fresh gel-like texture is non-sticky and quickly absorbed. This serum is can be use on its own or mix with HD makeup for a flawless application. I do not really like this elixir at all. It makes my skin looks flaky and my foundation doe not glides smoothly after applying this. I was informed that if you have dry skin, this elixir will make it flaky but I do not understand why it is so as it supposed to hydrate the skin.

MUFE HD range offers 7 different types of  HD Microprefecting Primer to cater different types of skin woes. Be it redness, pigmentation, acne, or dry skin. Other may have brightening and smoothing effect. I am using no.6 Yellow which moisturizes, blurring uneven skin tone and brighten the skin for makeup. It has smooth texture, hence makes it easy to apply and a pleasure to wear. My skin texture is refined. Much better than the HD Elixir.

I was also introduced to their best selling product HD Foundation. HD Foundation is an oil-free medium-to-full coverage liquid foundation which covers skin imperfections, while remaining invisible on-screen and in real life. It gives moderate to full coverage, easily layered giving you the perfect skin look. After the workshop, I went to dinner at a non-airconditioned restaurant and the foundation does not melt off. It does looks great in camera. After 6 hours, I need to blot a little around my T-zone area but overall, the foundation stayed flawless.

MUFE HD Second Skin Cream Blush definitely had caught my eyes the moment I entered the boutique. The high pigmented yet matte finish of the blush are really beautiful. This new creamy blush melts on the skin for an extremely natural flush of color with a long lasting result. I applied this with a densely packed kabuki brush. Only a tiniest amount needed for a beautiful blushed look. I am in love with this coral blush and I am glad that even though it does not contains any shimmer, my cheeks still looks sculpted and 3D. The shade that I chose (no.410) is THE PERFECT blush for a tanned skin tone like me. 20140509-202649.jpg Last but no least, MUFE is pretty excited to introduce the newly revamped HD Pressed powder. Their loose powder is a best seller and works really well. During the workshop, I get to try the HD pressed powder in 00 Universal Shade. and translucent shade that match any skin colour. HD Pressed Powder sets your makeup and slightly mattifies for a natural luminous finish without a trace of color. I have a small size loose powder version and it works similarly well. (I bought it at Sephora.) This innovative formula delicately balances a blend of three high-tech ingredients: synthetic mica, silicone powders and silica even out the skin tone with an invisible result. It also contains hyaluronic prevent from drying. The soft focus technology instantly fades away the appearance of fine lines and imperfections. I really like that the HD Powder is lightweighted and its silky texture blends seamlessly and smoothes your skin. All MUFE HD products are studio-tested with HD camera and Dematological tested.

Overall, I’m really enjoying my makeup workshop with MUFE. Thank you @ashleyyeen for having me. Thank you for the generous birthday goodie bag filled with Dr. Brand’s samplers and home baked cookie. I am also no longer a MUFE virgin as I took this opportunity to buy MUFE HD products: their best selling HD foundation in shade N125 and HD second skin cream blush in no.410. Next purchase will definitely be HD pressed powder (once it is in stock).
