Hello lovelies…

Here we are again with my beauty favourites for the past month. It is kinda surreal that it is already end of the year already. December would be one of the busiest month for me this year – helping organising brother-in-law’s wedding, celebrating hubby’s BIG 30 and family trip to Vietnam. Not so sure if I’m able to have some time for myself. So, I’m glad to discover (and rediscover) some of the beauty products that I’ve been loving for November.

1) Kiehl’s Blue Herbal Moisturiser

I have blemished skin and suffering from adult acne for years. My skin has been bad particularly this month. I have been using Kiehls Blue Herbal Moisturiser as a day moisturiser and I been loving this. It contained benzyl peroxide 5% which help to sooth angry acne and helps prevent new blemishes. It is light and fast absorbing. sometimes product contains benzyl peroxide is pretty drying, but not this one. It is great oily combination skin.

2) Benzac AC 5

For night time, I have been religiously using this on my spots or area that often break out like my chin, forehead, and corner of my mouth. It is drying and sometimes after few days of using it, you will notice peeling of the skin. So I love pairing it with a thick night-time moisturiser or moisturising sleeping mask which is:

3) Soap & Glory Beauty Sleep Accelerator Mask

This is a good moisturising sleeping mask. It is not as thick but more like a gel consistency. The fragrance is soothing and sweet which you first put it on. It is not over powering. It is not sticky and I usually woke up with soft, smooth skin. The dry patches (due to the benzoyl peroxide cream) is gone within 2- 3 days or using this. Sometimes I applied a little thick on area od dry patches.

4) Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Natural Beauty

I got this during Sephora Black 20% sale (my haul post HERE) and I love this shade a lot. Been wearing this blush everyday. This shade is reddish tone with no shimmer, so it gives a natural looking flush to the cheeks. It also lasted whole day at work. I would recommend for make up lovers to at least own 1 Tarte Amazonian Clay blush. Sephora is now selling Tarte’s new Christmas edition cheek palette – packaged in a beautiful clutch with lovely hair pins. I think it’s a steal.  Love <3!

5) 3CE Shimmer Stick in Peach

As someone with oily skin, I usually avoid highlighting in my makeup regime. However, I have been embracing light contouring and highlight in November. It is hard to find a good natural highlight but I am glad to have met Audrey form A Walk with Aud. She recommended to me this amazing 3CE Shimmer stick which is light and natural looking. I usually highlight below the brow bone and top of the cheek. However as 3CE Shimmer Stick is so natural looking, I do add this on the bridge of my nose and centre of the forehead. It gives a natural glow and I love the effect especially in the morning, to perk up tired face.

6) Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist

I love everything about this. It is not drying, great pigmentation and long lasting. I actually bought three of this lil gems but my favourite shad eto wear in November is Nude-ist. It is a Nudey-Pink that is great for everyday – for work or even weekend. Check out the swatches and my other favourite lips products in my Lips Addict Tag video in my YouTube channel HERE.

7) Revlon Photo Ready Concealer in Moyen/Medium

I love using this to cover my blemishes as it is thick and creamy to blend. It concealed my blemishes beautifully and I love the fact it is in a stick form, so I can bring it in my handbag for touch up. I find that using the clean fingers is the best way to blend this but using beauty blender is also great. This is only my second purchase. So, one stick lasted you a long time.

By the way, I purchased this at a ridiculously cheap price tag at Alliance Cosmestic Warehouse Sale in Shah Alam.  Click HERE to see my haul.

These are my top beauty products for November. As for my random favourite for month of November, it had to be Big Hero 6 movie.

Big Hero 6 Baymax group hug

It is sweet, adventurous and extremely funny. I love the backdrop of merging two cultures into one- the elite cosmopolitan New York and quirky high-tech Tokyo. My favourite character would be B….. Brother (Tadashi) because he is so handsome..hehe..and Baymax too. Love the movie! Everybody should watch this!
