It is time to share my favourites beauty products for January 2015. It has been a good start of the year for me. Read on to see what I have been loving for last month.
1. Revlon Photoready BB Cream in 030 Medium
I have been loving using BB cream almost everyday for January. This little skin perfector is great as it is light and easily blend. i love using a sponge to blend this in. I love that the formula is really hydrating to the skin. I did not notice any flaky area of skin with this BB cream It is not long lasting, but with combination of a great concealer, I think this is a good everyday base makeup. It is also contains SPF 30 which is awesome for the added UV protector.
2. Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Concealer in 3 Medium
Somehow I finally understand the hype of this concealer since my skin is not the drier side. It is creamy and blends seamlessly. It is a good concealer for the both under eyes and blemishes. The only down side for me that the shade Medium is a tad too light coloured for my skin tone especially to cover blemishes (great brightening effect for the under eyes though). So what I do is to mix in my foundation/BB for a natural finish.
3. Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder in 030 Medium
The most reached setting powder is Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder in the shade similar to my BB cream: 030 Medium. I finally hit pan on this powder. Yay! My skin has been dry, but I just dab the powder on my T-zone to reduce shine and to set my under eyes concealer. The reason I use a pressed powder instead of a powder foundation in January is to avoid clogging up the pores even more. It is all about light makeup last month.
4. Sleek i-Divine Au Naturel Palette
I have been using the eyeshadows from Au Naturel Palette by Sleek a lot last month. It has great shades of everyday neutral colours. I like that there are shades that are great for a soft smokey look too. I love Honeycomb and Toast for base, Nubuck for crease, Nougat and Taupe for highlight and have been interchangeably use Conker, Mineral Earth and Regal for the other corners or deepening the creases. Well loved palette for January 2015, indeed.
5. Mee Cosmetics Brightly Sharp Eyeliner
I love donning a thin eyeliner look especially with the soft neutral eyeshadows and I have new favourite black liquid eyeliner: Mee Cosmetics Brightly Sharp Eyeliner. The brush tip is pretty soft yet sturdy, making it easy to create a thin line.
The formula dries up pretty quickly and is waterproof, sweatproof and smudgeproof. This exceeds my expectations and I have been enjoying using Mee Cosmetics Brightly Sharp Eyeliner.

6. Too Faced Melted Fig
I am straying away for red lipsticks in January. Not sure why. It is like I’m going backwards and holding on to the Pantone’s Radiant Orchid. And I love the Too Faced Melted lipstick a lot. For January, I love using Melted Fig for work, for lunch, for dinner and even weekends. It is such a great colour for everyday yet beautiful to pair up with smokey eyes on weekends. It is hydrating and the formula really glides on the lips without settling into the tiny creases. Melted Fig is a creamy muted Rose Mauvey Purple that looks slightly more pinkish that complements my skin tone really well.

7. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 423 Pink Velvet
I always love Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick. Pink Velvet is part of the Creme lipstick range which is highly pigmented and super creamy. It is light on the lips and pretty long lasting. Pink Velvet is a Soft Pink with coral undertone that makes me feel that it is pretty rosy. Slightly brighter that most nude/rosy shades but I think it is still not too bright to wear to work. I wore Pink Velvet several times in January and really fall back in love with this shade.
Typo 2015 Planner
I started using old skool pen & paper planner this year and i have been enjoying using Typo’s planner. I love the weekly one- it is concise and straight forward. What I love the most is the size. It is not too small or too big. It fits into my work bag, handbag and laptop sleeve, so I can bring it everywhere.
I really like that there is a yearly planner insert and and the beginning of every month, there is a monthly insert too. This is great so you can see the overview of schedule/plans that you have for the whole month, before you plan your week. Typo also included a matching pen with this planner, however I like to use a pencil (mechanical ones) to write in my planner because my schedule would occasionally changed instantly. I like my planner to look neat so I would erase the old plan and add a new one.
It is not too late to get organise and plan your day/week/year. If you haven’t already, do start!
That are all my favs for January 2015. Do share with me your beauty favourites for the past month down in the comment section below. If you are a blogger, do share your link, so i can snoop around and do a little blog-hopping looking for what other beauty gurus are loving for January.
