I wanted to share my review and few swatches of the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Moisture Matt Lipsticks. I won these when I won the Christmas blogging contest by L’Oreal Paris x Butterfly Project Malaysia.
I am a lipstick junkie so I did pick up quite a few lipsticks and 4 of them are from the Colour Riche Moisture Matte Lipstick range. I never own a L’Oreal lipstick before so, I was pretty excited to get these.
Colour Riche Moisture Matte Lipsticks
These lipsticks promise to deliver intense moisture while providing a velvet matte finish. Colour Riche Moisture Matte’s unique formula contains jojoba oil for unrivaled moisture and comfort along with matte gel technology to create an intense matte look.
The Colour Riche Moisture Matte Lipsticks are all in the permanent range. The one that I have are:
BP501 Peachy Brown
PR511 Spring Rosette
P502 Cherry Crush
R517 Raspberry Syrup
C501 Crayon Sunset
One thing that intrigued me the most is although all the lipstick have matte formula some do have tiny glitter particles and some have like a pearly sheen. Soo, it is not all pure matte and consistent. One thing for sure, the ‘matte’ formula does make these lipsticks lasts all day.
BP501 Peachy Brown is exactly as its name: a er..peachy brown shade with tiny glitter
C501 Crayon Sunset is a Orangey Nude -perfectly matte
P502 Cherry Crush is a soft pink with blue undertone – totally matte too
R517 Raspberry Syrup is a bright reddish fuchsia. This is my favourite among all.
PR511 Spring Rosette is a mauvey rose shade that is great for daytime or work. There is a little of sheen making the finish not totally matte.
The Colour Riche Moisture Matte Lipsticks are pigmented but it is not all consistent for all shade. I feel that brighter shades give higher pigmentation. The formula is matte but the finish might be different for some shade. Some finishes re totally matte, some do have tiny glitter particles and some have like a pearly sheen. Again it is not all consistent.
Nonetheless there are a wide range of shades available in stores. There is at least one lipstick for any girl in any skin tone out there. L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Moisture Matte Lipsticks are available at Watsons, Guardian and caring pharmacy.
However these lipsticks last a long time, without eating or drinking it lasted up to 6-8hours. The downside of these lipsticks that is I still find the formula drying out my lips. If I wore these lipstick everyday, I will find the my lips cracked up after 3-4 days. Wearing a lip balm prior to applying Colour Riche Moisture Matte Lipsticks is a must.
(I would recommended Maybelline baby lips, Burt’s Bee lip balm or Chu Lip)
Do you own L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Moisture Matte Lipsticks? which one is you favourite?
