If you follow me on Instagram and Facebook, you have noticed that I have posted daily photos of my breakfast with Dutch Lady Pure Farm Milk for a week. It was an Instagram challenge and I had fun creating breakfast combos with milk for breakfast.

Besides beauty and makeup, I am passionate about health. And I am pretty sure all of us know the fact that breakfast is the most important meal of the day for us. By doing the challenge, I have learned there is an easy fun way to have your breakfast, for example a box of protein-packed milk for breakfast.

Breakfast is THE MOST IMPORTANT meal of the day

Now, I must confess that I often skip breakfast especially when rushing in the morning: getting dressed, sending baby to daycare, racing against the traffic to get to work on time. I often opt for a cup of coffee or skip breakfast altogether causing me to take larger portion of food and overeat during lunch.

By doing the challenge I’ve learned that breakfast is important as it provides a kickstart to the day after 6 to 8 hours whole night of fasting. Often we wake up feeling a tad dehydrated and sluggish. Having a high protein-packed breakfst with milk definitely gives the nutrition that the body needs.

Milk is one of the easiest food that is just perfect taken as breakfast. A glass of milk in the morning can provide at least 275mg of Calcium helping you to meet your daily Calcium requirement. It also contains other nutrients like vitamin A,/B/C/D, Selenium, Phosphorus and of course motherlode of Protein.

It was really fun to plate up your food as well. A good tip is that it really pays and makes things so much easier if you prepare your breakfast earlier (like the night before). Having to know that I will be having a good breakfast meal the next morning put me in a good mood and I woke up feeling so excited for the breakfast.

If you don’t have the time, do not worry. Just grab a box of Dutch Lady Pure Farm milk and drink it on-the-go. Your body will feel replenished instantly. Like me, I bring my favourite Granola bars and eat it with milk in the car for those days that I am so short of time.
