It is time to share my favourites beauty products for January 2015. It has been a good start of the year for me. Read on to see what I have been loving for last month.
1. Revlon Photoready BB Cream in 030 Medium
I have been loving using BB cream almost everyday for January. This little skin perfector is great as it is light and easily blend. i love using a sponge to blend this in. I love that the formula is really hydrating to the skin. I did not notice any flaky area of skin with this BB cream It is not long lasting, but with combination of a great concealer, I think this is a good everyday base makeup. It is also contains SPF 30 which is awesome for the added UV protector.
Just a quick post sharing my latest haul at Sephora. I have been resisting to shop in December as I have been planning to get my hands on extra discount/sale post Christmas week. What a great strategy it was for me. Definitely a positive start to 2015. I got a pretty great bargain and finally got my hands on Stila Christmas kits. (I have been eyeing them for over a month).
I am so proud of myself for holding on as long as I did. Here we go with the haul. I also mentioned the prices of each item that I got. Do note that I also add 10% discount on top of the sale prices, using my Sephora Black Card privilege. (Yep, it was fun shopping experience with the extra discounts).
I have been finding myself loving wearing lip colour recently. If there’s a lip colour that I would never ever try, it would be a neon shade. At first, I couldn’t bring myself to ever dare trying bright neon colours as I thought it would be too super ugly on my skin tone.
Well, I finally managed to overcome my fear of neon lips this year about 2 months ago after watching one of my favourite YouTubers – Ingrid Nilsen a.k.a MissGlamorazzi sporting bright fuchsia lipstick over and over again in this year’s Spring (roughly 3-4 months ago).
So you might have seen me wearing neon lips on my instagram for the past few months. Neon lips are bold, fun and beautiful. But I think the formula or the RIGHT lip product really make a difference. Today, I would like to share with you guys my new love – Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick.
Hello hello ~
In my previous post, I’ve mentioned that 2014 is going to be a great chance as I’m now working at a new place. (Read my previous post)
I’m now currently working at the National Cancer Institute in Putrajaya. I’m a cancer doc now. 🙂
Here I want to share my simple makeup look for work. [you can wear this look for class too 😉 ]
I have been wearing it almost everyday for the past week. However I change my lip colour everyday depending on my mood.
I think this makeup looks natural, polished and professional. It brightens your complexion and defines facial features . I love that you can pair this with a nude or bright lips. I prefer a creamy lip gloss or matte lipstick for that professional look.
If I’m late for work, I would apply powder foundation, loads of black mascara and pink lipstick. I never go out of the house without applying mascara.
